Red Grape juice is beneficial to cardiovascular health.  This shows that it is the grape, not the alcohol, that produces benefits for heart health by activating the relaxation in the arteries.
The grape needs to have a high level of polyphenols said Dr Valerie Schini-Kerth one of the researchers from Strasbourg's Louis Pasteur University in France. ‘The amount of polyphenols in grape juice, as in red wine, depends on the type of grape used and how it is processed.'
Polyphenols are antioxidants that protect the cells from damage caused by free radicals. Read more at Medical News Today.
